This is a very good article. I have always been pro-choice but I love your take here. Yes, if investment into people's lives were a priority by those who shout the loudest on the pro-life side, we might be in a different place - on so many other fronts too!

I think this is the first time that I’ve heard anyone who’s pro-life make a statement I as a pro-choice person can absolutely agree with. Great thoughtful piece!

Thank you. I consider that high praise and means that I did my job with at least part of my audience 😉

Beautifully and thoughtfully written. If only we could all have reasonable dialogue like this, we wouldn't be where we are now.

It would certainly make a difference if we could talk to and with each other and work towards solutions instead of talking AT each other in an effort to win the argument.

Love this one too! Such a great perspective. You are in a roll. You might also appreciate the other substack that I write. It’s called Brain Food-Books. I try to cover non fiction related to current events and culture. I would love it if you would be willing to share this there as a guest writer. Take a look and see what you think. The archives should be open.

Subscribed. And I would gladly share it there. Let me know what you need me to do.

That would be great, I will let you know. It will probably be after Nov. 4th when I send my one year anniversary newsletter.

Oh! I will definitely check it out! And thank you. Practicing nuance is so much harder than writing about it, but I hope to write it into reality. And I love good non-fiction 😊

Thank you. You said what I have been saying and believing as a minister better than I ever did.

I've been processing this for years. And it's far from easy. I wish we could approach this issue with a listening ear and humility.
