It's time to stop using militaristic language to talk about politics and religion
Just finished reading Jesus and John Wayne which did a good job of explaining exactly how this transformation happened over the last 50 years.
It's really hard to say I loved that book, because the content is not something I loved, but it was so validating while also helped me better understand basically my entire childhood and teenage experience.
It helped me realize something that had been nagging at me. What they call Evangelicalism is really just a cultural thing.
Yes! There's been a lot of discussion about over the past few years on the Holy Post Podcast. The term has lost of religious meaning.
