I came across your post on the Coffee Times chat - this is such a cool Thanksgiving tradition! I don't have a camping bone in my body but I appreciate the effort and adventure involved.

I know it's not for most people, but I love sharing a different way of doing things 😊

I enjoyed reading about your Campsgiving adventure, Sarah. It's heartening to see how this has become a cherished part of your family's tradition, even after the transition from Houston to Indiana. The unexpected snow on your journey home gives that adventure to the story, highlighting the unpredictability that comes with such outings. Looking forward to hearing more about your future Campsgivings!

It takes very intentional planning 😂 When people try camping and are miserable because they didn't plan even their meals, I'm like, well there's your problem.

I'm definitely a "here is your hot dog" kind of camper, lol.

Campsgiving is the only way to go! Loved your story! Mine was less cold and definitely no snow involved!

We MIGHT have a crack in one of the downspouts now (due to freezing), so we'll have to do some investigating in spring before we head back out, but worth it!
