This brought back all of the emotions of being in high school, going to college , and the rest that followed- and how I feel about raising children who have to go through the same thing one day.
I truly think one of the hardest things we do is make it from pre-puberty to adulthood with love still in our hearts and open to the world. Having my support system- loving parents- made that possible. ♥️

And we're trying so hard to do just that with our kids.
That’s what matters! My parents were not perfect by any means- but I never doubted that they were there.
