I love reading about and learning from other writers' processes--thank you for sharing. One question: 10 readers seems like a lot. Did you find that to be optimal in the end? Or did it end up adding any contradictions and confusion to the editing process?
It was a lot but this is my first real attempt at self publishing 😉 Most of the feedback came from a smaller number and it was helpful. I think I would do fewer on the next book and save people for the launch team to promote.
It's why I wrote it 😊 All writers have such different processes but I've learned about how to develop that process from reading what other writers have done. Just hoping it pays off in the end!
