Our Hawaii Getaway Part 2: We Explore the Big Island

When I discovered that I had a two-week spring break, it seemed like the perfect time for a trip away from the kids to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our second stop was the Big Island of Hawaii. While there we saw historic sites, black sand, and an erupting volcano. It was everything we wanted it to be and more.
