I'm Still Here
But my writing is going to be a irregular for a little while longer
School may have been out for the past two weeks, but I’ve been busy making appointments, fulfilling appointments, and working on my camping memoir so I can finish it by next week. I’m ready to hand the beast of a manuscript over to my beta team for some serious revision. (I’m still taking applications for the beta team. The application is due by June 18.)
So while I’ve been working hard on the manuscript, I also have so much more to write about, which is evidenced by the eighteen drafts I have started in my drafts folder. I promise to be back soon with regularly scheduled posts for my free subscribers. I have started sending drafts of my work-in-progress only to my paid subscribers in an effort to cut down on email inbox clutter for all of my subscribers.
This is what you can look forward to during the remainder of the summer months leading into August:
Travel posts about our planned Fourth of July camping trip to northern Indiana and our family’s trip to Orlando, Disney, and Universal (look forward to weekly posts for over a month as I break the trip down park by park)
Posts about my hopes for the future of our country as we approach our 250th birthday in three years
Posts about life as a mom and wife
Posts digging into spiritual trauma, including my experiences with door-to-door evangelicalism (these will most likely be for paid subscribers)
In the meantime, I’m still posting day-to-day updates on Instagram and I will have some good writing for everyone to enjoy in the next couple of weeks.
Order my new book!
I’ve written a memoir collection of essays based on several of my blog posts from the past seven years. It is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
And if you do purchase, please give it a favorable review on Amazon and Goodreads, or any other book tracking app that you might use.
Please “like” by clicking on the ❤ and share this post with your friends so that others can join me on the journey.
Beta readers!! Congrats on reaching this point!
