It’s my birthday week! In honor of that momentous occasion, I am offering some opportunities for my readers.

Earn a Three-Month Trial of Paid Subscriptions

Now is the chance to try out my paid subscriptions. I am currently working on my second book, a camping memoir tentatively titled The Life I Never Knew I Wanted: How Camping Formed My Marriage and Family Life. While I work on the second draft of this book, this summer I am posting weekly chapter updates for paid subscribers. Free subscribers can read a free preview of the weekly chapter, but they will not get access to the whole chapter and will not be able to comment on the piece. As I am now sending out a chapter a week, I will only be emailing these chapters to paid subscribers for the remainder of the writing process, which will last for the full three-month trial.
